What it’s Like to Work Together

“Making the decision to work through Resilient Nurse Roadmap is one of the best I could have made for myself. Diana has helped equip me so that I can navigate through the difficulties of being a nurse in this pandemic. I’ve learned that I’m so much more than just my job. I’ve learned that I am a priority and I deserve to take care of myself. I’ve learned to advocate for myself and build my own confidence. I’ve learned how to set boundaries without feeling guilty. You won’t change overnight, but Diana and the sweet community of sisters you gain will help to equip you for sustainable success. Invest in yourself- it is so worth it.”

Meghan

“Where to even begin with my biggest takeaways and wins for mentorship? It is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I’ve learned how to effectively and confidently sit boundaries and stand up for myself and my patients and not apologize for it! I’ve also learned that it’s OK not to be OK and that taking care of me first is the most important thing. You can’t pour from an empty cup. It’s OK to feel stuck and not to know where your passion lies in nursing. It’s OK to take a break and to take time for me. I’ve met some of the most amazing, supportive and kind people and mentorship and I’m forever blessed. If you were even a bit interested in doing this, just do it you’ll never regret investing time and money into making yourself a better person, but I promise you will regret not doing it”

“Prior to this mentorship I had been a nurse for 8 years on med/surg units feeling extreme burnout during a global pandemic and decided to make a leap as an ICU nurse. I was facing a lot of fear and self doubt and struggling with my confidence. When I came across Diana on IG I knew immediately I needed to give it a shot and I knew I made the right decision our very first week of mentorship. Diana gave me the tools I needed to grow not only professionally but personally as well. She taught me how to set boundaries, stand up for myself and overcome imposter syndrome. She helped me realize that I should not feel guilty for prioritizing myself and putting self care on my to do list. I have also met so many incredible and inspiring nurses. It is so comforting to be a part of a community that fully supports and understands one another and continues to help me learn and grow as a person and as a nurse. You won’t regret making yourself a priority!”

“Everyone talks about burnout when you are a new nurse, and fresh from school I was convinced that it wouldn’t happen to me. Then the pandemic hit. The floor I was working on constantly changed patient specialties depending on the hospital’s need, including at times being and COVID ICU overflow. I was guilty of working way too much because I didn’t want my coworkers or patients to suffer because we were short staffed, and put my own needs aside for several months. I put my nose to the grindstone, shoved aside my feelings and did the work. I continued this way for months….because I believed it to be temporary. Because at the core of my being, I am a nurse…and putting others before ourselves is what we do. With all this upheaval, always being short, and constantly working I developed a lot of unhealthy patterns and coping mechanisms to deal with it. After several months of this I was tired and dreaded going into work every day. The Resilient Nurse Roadmap program helped to rebuild my sense of self outside of the hospital and gave me the courage to set up healthy boundaries and give only what I could. I rediscovered hobbies and passions that I had neglected for too long. As I continued with the RNR2.0 group, I eventually recognized my own trauma from the uncertainty and level of acuity of our Covid patients and feeling the need to sequester myself from others for their safety. I realized I had a lot of unresolved anxiety and depression and with the support of Diana and the group sought out therapy and mental health support. Now I’m happier, and thriving and have many tools and resources to help support me in my nurse journey.”

RNR 2.0 allows you the support, accountability, and community to continue building and growing off the foundations of RNR. It is a safe place to be vulnerable with fellow nurse/NP mentees and of course the beautiful guidance of Diana. The friendships and self care skills you gain are invaluable. The reality is, changing our habits and mindsets takes time and there will be setbacks. Being in RNR 2.0 provides a space to continue to recommit to your growth and happiness in and out of nursing. I highly recommend continuing your commitment to living your best life with the support of RNR 2.0! Also, we always have fun!!!

“When I first signed up for mentorship, I was in a bad place.

After relocating for my husband’s job, I found myself in one of the most toxic hospital

departments I’ve ever worked for. I tried to tough it out for 9 months, but ultimately, I decided

to resign.  I had no confidence, no idea what to do, and felt completely destroyed. I was heartbroken and I honestly wasn’t even sure I wanted to be a nurse anymore.

Fast forward a bit, I connected with Diana on Instagram, found a new job (not based in a

hospital setting) and I was ready to take back control of my life. The 12 weeks of mentorship were incredible. Diana is a constant champion and cheerleader. Even when I was going through a hard time and shutting everyone out, she made sure I knew she was still there for me. It’s little changes that have a huge and lasting impact on creating a healthier and more fulfilling life.

I literally just finished mentorship and I’m starting it again. I’m re-watching sessions and

reviewing information in the workbook. I am also joining the alumni program to keep the

momentum going. Nursing is hard, no matter what you do. And even though I love my job now, there are still bad days and tough situations. The difference is I now have the tools to handle it and will always have the support of Diana and my fellow mentees when I really hit a block.

There aren’t enough words to write how grateful I am and how impactful this mentorship

program has been. Invest in yourself, make the time to do the work, and take the leap – it’s so worth it!”

Diana provided mentorship for launching and scaling a coaching/mentorship program using social media. Through her experience building a successful RN/NP mentorship business, she provides practical business tips and resources, such as sales, marketing via social media, knowing your ideal client, pricing, and creating your mission/vision. Even better is the accountability and mindset tips when fear inevitably comes up. With her business mentorship, I was able to design and launch my own NP mentorship program. I did so all while feeling supported and encouraged with actionable steps to continue to grow my business. I highly recommend investing in business mentorship with Diana.

“This summer, I gave myself the gift of mentorship, and I was welcomed into a phenomenal group of ladies.

Everyone was so supportive and kind, and I always looked forward to chatting with them and hearing about their adventures while sharing mine too!

Over the course of mentorship, I graduated from nursing school, interviewed for my first job in the field, passed my NCLEX, and landed a full-time permanent position as an emergency room nurse! And I couldn't have done it without the support of Diana and the other mentees in my group.

Diana encouraged all of us to be our best selves, and to put ourselves first. After a lifetime of putting other people's needs ahead of mine and being terrified of change and uncertainty, I learned to let go of my people-pleasing streak.

I found more hours in the day for joy. I set healthy boundaries for my relationships, and my work. All of a sudden, I felt so much more fulfilled in life. I was less irritable, had more energy, and spent less time on my phone!

I will forever be grateful to Diana for holding me accountable for my life and supporting me as I became more independent and in control.

Looking forward to continuing mentorship with Diana -- she is such a positive force for good! I highly recommend mentorship to any nurse or nurse practitioner who feels that they are not making the most of their life, or need the support to make a big change!”

Jill

“You might remember me, Jill, from my mid-mentorship testimonial, if not I’ve been an RN for almost 8 years and I graduate in May with my MSN/FNP program. From mid-way to mentorship graduation I continued to grow snd work with Diana to put my values and goals into an action plan, including remember the NEW stories and mantras I have to keep with me! I now have an awesome roadmap to go back to and revise as the seasons of my life change and it makes me feel so powerful and confident and I could not have gotten here without Diana and our work together. You truly will never regret this investment in yourself!”

Amanda

“I was sitting on a NOC shift as a travel nurse with no direction and pure frustration. I remember just sitting there and scrolling Instagram and stopping at the meme “BURNOUT ISN’T NORMAL.” I knew I was so burned out and I began hating nursing. I’m only a 3 year old nurse and I was upset I was already at this point. I really loved nursing and felt like a strong nurse but I still hated showing up. It felt like a gut punch everyday. I started following Diana and learned about her “Rise to Resilience” mentorship program. I finally felt at my end and I was doing this program. I needed to be happy again. During the last 13 weeks, I woke up. I have learned so many amazing tools and feel finally like a human first, nurse second. This has been an insanely, amazing, and beautiful time full of laughs, tears, and FUN. Now I’m this free bird with a backpack full of mentorship to love myself AND nursing again.”

Meg

“My confidence has skyrocketed, I’ve been able to set healthy boundaries and stand up for myself. I always get emotional talking about it because it’s crazy how much this mentorship has changed my life, improved who I am and improved my relationships inside and outside of work.”

Erin L.

“Mentorship has helped me gain clarity on my limiting beliefs holding me back and how to create a life I love in and out of work. Never doubt this investment in myself for a second.”

Adrianna

“This group has had an immense impact on my confidence. I have never felt more confident in my life. It's the support from our community that has helped me get there and the tools you've given us that are keeping me from waivering.

I still have hard days but ultimately, I know my worth and that doesn’t ever change anymore. I feel like a bad ass and I can confidently profess that I really feel like I’m doing a good job at my life. Maybe that was a weird perspective to have but it was really hard for me to feel like I was in consistently feeling in all areas of my life a few months ago. My feelings about who I am as a person have changed drastically and I don’t believe that I’m a horrible person and then I’m a failure anymore”

“Diana has helped me navigate through life to be the best me I can be for my patients, co-workers, and family. I was on the verge of burn-out- my toxic work environment and lack of self-care habits were becoming detrimental to my well-being. Diana has guided me through the most difficult season of my life as a new grad nurse. From self-care tips, interview guidance- to sleep resources- Diana is FULL of wisdom and nuggets of knowledge to help nurses. I am so thankful to have found her when I did. Diana is the epitome of what a nurse should be- an exceptional role model for nurses from all walks of life. Lessons that they don’t teach you in nursing school, but should. Her positivity is contagious- there is no one better equipped to mentor you in your time of need."

“Diana has such an intense passion for what she does and it will literally be life-saving for her clients what she does is such a vital service for us healthcare workers and I cannot thank her enough. When I needed help with my situation, she took the time to sit down with me and work it out. She’s the coach we all need to come back to ourselves and truly reach our full potential. I’m so glad I met her and I cannot recommend her services enough.”

Amy

“I am so grateful for you and I feel really good about the investment I put into myself. I still have anxiety but I feel that that’s normal and the difference is that now I have the tools to navigate it AND I actually implement them”

Jill

Kate

“I highly recommend mentorship with Diana. Burn out is not in evitable or permanent. Working with Diana I’ve been actionable tools to help my boundary setting, insomnia, pre-shift dread and post shift misery. This is true self care. As a nurse I knew how to cure and advocate for others but not myself. Now I do. “

Elyse

I am so grateful to Diana and this tribe of people. Having a bunch of nurse friends who empathize and get what you are going through has been invaluable when making big scary leaps in my career, and also as an advocate for health

Tara

“I’d like to give a huge shout out to Diana whose tools and expertise allowed me to realize how burnt out I was. Self-awareness was key and recognizing the problem at hand and self-love and advocacy gave me the courage to carry out my plan.

Having support while deep diving into your personal self has been invaluable. It’s been amazing to have a family to support you through these processes. Doing this program has helped me Reignite my caring and selfless self at work for my patients, while giving me the tools to nurture myself outside of work so I can keep helping others.

It’s worth it. If you’re stressed out about money, I’m confident it will save you money/time down the road and all the time you save living a life that’s not worth your time, money and energy. All the things you’ve been wanting to do but you don’t have energy for or your job is limiting you. Diana and her program have your back

Please do yourself a favor and take the plunge to invest in yourself. You will make great friends and have awesome support!

Invest in yourself as a win-win decision. You will learn the tools that you can use across your career and life to create a life you love

You are the best project ever work on. You are a worthy investment.”

“The first thing I noticed with the first call with Diana was how she was always cracking jokes and laughing, I loved how she immediately wanted to make it known that we were all in a safe space and there was no room for judgment. I still use her post shift reflection to this day, after every single shift. She reminds you that you’re human, you are so much more than the letters behind your name. She gets real, and honest with you because she cares. I could barely make any of the zoom calls because I work nights and she was still so vigilant in checking up on me and seeing how I was doing with the homework. That really spoke to me. Diana wants to see you succeed, she is genuinely such a sweet and caring person. I remember her saying one time “news flash, you’re always doing to have stuff to do” and then it just CLICKED, I was like omg she’s right. She reminds you that you NEED to take time for you, because we’re all human and we need to love on ourselves.

She gives you so many awesome tips for your own personal development and your development in your nursing career. I absolutely loved working with her and am so glad to have met such a beautiful person. I still keep in touch with her to this day because she’s such a great person to have in your circle.”
